Dish Network has several new announcements for 2008, which starting February 1st! Dish is focus on their HD programming offerings, including new HD local channels in several cities across the country. DISH Network is planning to launch a new HD DVR receiver named the ViP612 DVR. The ViP612 is planned to be released early this year and has the ability to record up to 30 hours of high-definition programming or 200 hours of standard-definition programming.
